Camp Curry Pancakes, Yosemite, CA
Spring break of April 2025 started with a quick trip to Yosemite and a stay at the Camp Curry tent cabins. This was a first for us going so early in the season. Snow still sparkled on the ground in the meadows of Yosemite falls and we had a few good snowball fights.

Camp Curry Seven Tents Pavilion Pancakes
There is nothing better than starting off a brisk morning after tent cabin camping than to have a hot coffee and some awesome pancakes! Surprisingly, the food prices in the park are actually quite reasonable and this includes the pancakes. We ordered one plate of pancakes (which amazingly comes with 7 pancakes) and a combo egg and bacon meal to share. The pancakes were big enough that 2 sufficed for the adults and the kids made it through 1/2-1 pancake. Sawing through with plastic knife and fork wasn’t too bad as the pancakes are tender and fluffy and not very thick. The butter and syrup are packaged which is expected for this cafeteria venue.

The coffee had room for improvement. It was hot but not good and a few sugar packets made it only ok. There is a coffee spot next door if you have the patience to wait in line, but we got enough of a caffeine fix and headed off to Lower Yosemite falls hike and a village walk. Our pancakes kept us full requiring only a few snacks to get us into late lunch. If you are a chili fan, check out the Mountain Room at the base of Yosemite Falls, the chili dish is amazing! Maybe they will some day make some chili cornbread pancakes!
